The Dollhouse by Christina Hagmann, eBook,182 pages

Synopsis from GoodReads: An antique dollhouse. A family secret. A malevolent spirit. Sarah thought inheriting her grandmother's antique dollhouse was a charming reminder of childhood—until the dolls started moving on their own. As she delves into her family's past, Sarah uncovers a curse involving trapped souls and a malevolent entity known as the Bell Witch. With her brother acting increasingly erratic and her own sanity in question, Sarah must confront the dark forces that haunt her family. Aided by her devoted boyfriend and a mysterious woman from her grandmother's past, she races against time to break the curse before it claims another victim. Some family heirlooms are best left to collect dust.

BOOK REVIEW: I love everything about this book! I can't say it enough. It was a quick read at first it was reminding me of that episode of Supernatural where the hotel seems haunted and the things that happen to the dolls in the doll house happen to people "in real life" but it ended up being something totally different. I started thinking that I knew what was coming and then twist...didn't see the "how" coming! Does that make sense?

This was 5 stars. It has everything that you want and need in this novella. Is it a novella? I don't know but it is great! It has mystery and suspense and was perfect to round out October! Definitely thinking it might be added to my book club's TBR! This is my second book that I've read by this author and it has solidified that I enjoy her writing style. I can't wait to see what she comes out with next!
