A girl and a boy floating up in the sky surrounded by pink clouds, the moon phases and constellations with a city scape below them. Title is across the center in the clouds and the author's name is above the moons.

I'll Find You Where The Timeline Ends¹ by Kylie Lee Baker, eBook, 300 pages

Synopsis from GoodReads: Yang Mina, descended from a Japanese dragon god, was born with the power to travel through time, and has spent her life training to take her place in the Descendants, a secret organization whose purpose is to protect the timeline. But since moving to Seoul, everything is falling apart. Mina has discovered that the Descendants are corrupt, that her sister has been erased from existence, and that she can’t pass Calculus, which puts her mission to kiss the cutest boy in her year at risk.

With her very existence on the line, Mina decides to tread a dangerous team up with a handsome rogue agent named Yejun, who has a plan to free the Descendants from the corrupt influence, and (hopefully) restore Mina’s sister. Between class and their time travel dates, Mina can’t stop herself from falling for the mysterious Yejun. Yet, as Mina grows closer to Yejun, she also grows closer to discovering the truth, which may be the very thing that breaks her…

BOOK REVIEW: There is so much to this book that I don't even know where to start. It's really hard for me to talk about this book as it has to do with time travel and can I talk about it without giving anything away. There is a lot that happens in this story that we get to see come full circle except there is one scene between Mina and her mentor that doesn't get referenced again and I had been waiting. I also thought that I was starting to make connections to certain things and events and half the time was SO wrong that I'm glad I never verbalized them! To say I enjoyed this book would be a huge understatement.

I don't know if there is anything in particular that I loved the most. While Mina is a high school student, something I have not been in over 20 years, I did find myself feeling a little nostalgic and walked down memory lane. Not that we are anything alike but I wish I had had some hot guy offer to help me pass Pre-Cal...I mean I passed but like only enough to get the credit for the class but we won't talk about that. Watching Mina grow in just the short time that this story takes place is a treat that I love.

It's a 5 star for me. While I have no idea how to pronounce Yejun's name or Jihoon's or Hyebin's correctly, I didn't let that trip me up. I also pulled up Google Earth to check out some of the places referenced as I am in no way shape or form familiar with South Korea. I'll be real honest...like you know I always am...I actually might grab the audiobook for this one so I can listen to it and hear how these names and places are pronounced. The author did a wonderful job incorporating magic into the real world. The characters and the time loops and emotions all just wrapped me up into the story from the very beginning! I didn't even try to guess how this was going to end and I'm glad I didn't because I think, yet again, I would have been wrong. While this is my first introduction to this author, it is not their first book and I'm definitely adding some of her other books to my never-ending TBR. This book is out today in all formats wherever books are sold. You can also use the link I added to the title to help support indie bookstores across the US.
