Hide and Seek Crafting Edition

I've been part of a group on Facebook for about a year now. This group shares patterns for small items that can be made with little notes left so people know that the item isn't lost but looking for a home. I've been struggling to come up with things to create and then my mom went and sent me a bunch of her partially used yarn and I decided to start making little things to leave around town! So far I've made some little books and a couple of octopus. I would love to use up some of my stash making these items and then also sending them to people I know around the country or to people about to travel so they can drop them around. I think it would be so fun but how do I track them?

Well I don't. What I've done is written a note that says to please share a public post on social media and use the hashtag #MomModeLoading and then drop my website at the bottom. At some point my printer will be working again and then I would love to be able to create a QR code that will direct them here to a specific post (like this one) so they can comment where (city) they found their item and maybe share a picture. I honestly don't know if you can leave a picture in the comments on here but I will find out!

Here's an example of some small items I've been leaving around.

If you have any ideas of small items that are quick and easy to make that I can leave, please let me know in the comments! For now, I'll continue to leave these little guys around. It's like hide and seek except they're going to be visible because I want people to find them!
